Father Egbert Highbranch is a talented toy maker and dreams of opening his own toy store one day. Baby brother Bran Highbranch is obsessed with taking pictures and carries his beloved camera everywhere he goes. His poor family cannot move a muscle without him calling for them to ‘freeze’, ‘hold it right there’, or ‘say cheese!’ Despite having to stop and pose at any given moment, Bran’s mother, Olive, thinks that he has a good eye and perhaps will grow up to be Sylvania’s next professional photographer.
Baby sister Brie Highbranch loves to look at the world in great detail. She takes her trusty binoculars everywhere she goes and with her long neck she always has an excellent view of everything that is going on in the village. Her parents are currently trying to teach her about privacy and how it isn’t polite for Brie to use her binoculars to see what their neighbours are having for tea!
